taking up space.
The focus of my career as a female cultural producer has been to galvanise black identity on stage, as well as supporting the growth of community theatre and its sustainable impact through the curation of masterclasses, productions and live/digital events.
My practice drives me to create work for and alongside artists from a range of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Passionately resulting in projects that can create opportunities for different cultures to be brought together through the medium of art. As an intersectional feminist, it is vital for me as a theatre maker to produce authentic female stories collaborating with women from ethnically diverse backgrounds.
I drive to support the representation of black women within the creative industry; building on the movement which sees us excel.
